Kachcha Limboo is about what children go through when they are 13-14 years old. It is about a month in this child Shambu’s life. Shambu is a fat boy, who faces problems at home and with his friends. It is also about him falling in love. One day, he runs away from home, and sees an environment that he was never exposed to in his protected life.

The film is also about Shambu’s parents played by Atul Kulkarni and Sarika and their relationship.

I wanted to make such a film because I was highly inspired by movies like Ghatak’s Bari Theke Paliye and Gulzar’s Kitaab, which shows you the sensitive side of a child’s mind.

This is the first film I wanted to make. I had said this while studying films in the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, six or seven years ago. But I never got an opportunity to make it.

I had thought of many titles for the film like First Rank, as the kid was obsessed with getting the first rank in class. Finally, we decided on Kachcha Limboo. That’s a term used for the weakest player in games. Plus, I feel like a kachcha limbo in the industry after Bheja Fry.

Appalaraju (sunil) is an aspiring director from Amalapuram and he lands in Hyderabad to make his dream come true. Fate gets him to Rocky (raghu babu) and his creative head Pushpanand (harshavardhan). Appalaraju prepares a script which is a tragedy movie and he manages to convince the hot heroine Kanishka (sakshi) to do the film. He is supported by four assistant directors and one among them is Krishna (swathi). Meanwhile, the hero is initially the superstar Babu garu (adarsh) who reportedly has an affair with Kanishka.  Dabangg | Technical Fault Disrupted, Salman Khan Starrer Dabangg:

Hundreds of viewers went berserk when the screening of Salman Khan-starrer Dabangg was disrupted at Ahmedabad’s Drive-in cinema during Sunday’s late night show. According to eyewitnesses, a technical fault reportedly played spoilsport, which resulted in a massive public outburst.

Eyewitnesses said that there were absolutely no problems till the interval. However, in the second half of the film, at the point where Khan’s character Chulbul Pandey goes for his honeymoon, the screening got disrupted. Initially, the fans waited for the film to restart, but a few minutes later, when the management announced that the film wouldn’t be completed because of a technical fault, the crowd got furious.

“Sounds of glass breaking could be heard from the canteen. Then the lights flickered and went off. We learnt that people were unhappy with the sudden disruption,” said Sanjay Soni, an eyewitness. He was watching the film there with his family. Immediately after news of the violence surfaced, Vastrapur police reached the spot and controlled the situation. However, eyewitnesses said that by this time, the crowd had already damaged a lot of property in the theatre.

“The management promised that they would return the cost of the ticket to them. However, some people couldn’t tolerate the sudden disruption, and reacted violently,” said another source.

Police sources said that electric bulbs of the canteen and screen seem to have been damaged in the brawl. Besides, the outrage caused tremendous panic among people, who began fleeing the scene.

When contacted, Drive-In officials were not available for comment.

However, according to Vastrapur police, the manager of Drive-in cinema, SK Giri in an application with the Vastrapur police stated that money was refunded to the viewers as the movie was disrupted due to technical fault and as there wasn’t any major damage done, he wasn’t lodging any complaint against anybody.

Dabangg movie took the Bollywood by storm and Salman Khan is all happy for the Dabangg collections. The movie netted more than 100 crores in the first 10 days and has all the previous Bollywood movies record tumbling.

And the aftermath – Salman Khan is partying hard tonight at his Juhu residence, Mumbai. It seems that the guest list was so big that brother Arbaaz Khan was compelled to break the list into two divisions for on back to back nights.

Tonight, first division guest list comprise of people who are directly or indirectly associated to Dabangg movie. The second list has people from the Bollywood industry.

Says Arbaaz Khan, “Since the guest list as big, we’ve decided to split into two halves. My team is on the job of inviting all the guests”.

Also, Sallu Bhai is back on Twitter after making his remarks on the 26/11 terror attack on Mumbai. But he’s back with Dabangg (The Bang) and started updating about his and Dabangg developments.

Also, Emami has reached an out-of-court settlement with Arbaaz Khan Production for the use of words Zandu Balm over Munni badnaam hui song. And now, it looks like Emami is planning cast Malaika Arora Khan as brand ambassador for Zandu Balm to cash in.
