BLDE UGET(Under-Graduate Entrance Test) is an Entrance Exam for admission to MBBS Course in BLDE University, Bijapur, Karnataka. BLDEUniversity is situated in Karnataka and was established in the year 1910. There are more than 75 colleges under BLDE association. BLDE UGET Application Form:

The Demand Draft or the cheque can be drawn at a price of Rs. 1500/ in favor of the Registrar of the BLDE University. The interested candidates should also make sure that the Demand Draft is payable at the branch of Bijapur, within the Karnataka State. Also the candidates should be clearly made aware of the fact that fees made in non-refundable in nature. Furthermore, the candidate’s application is rejected if he or she fails to appear at the entrance exam. Furthermore, the application form must contain an authorized signature of thecandidate along with a left thumb impression, also the form must contain the signature of the candidate’s parents and that of a Gazette officer that belongs to the school in which the candidate has studied.

Also the candidate must affix a color based photograph that should not be less than six months old, the exact date of the day on which the photo is taken should also be clearly mentioned over the photograph. The candidate should also affix a character certificate carrying the signature of the Head master and should be in a Xerox copy that is in the attested form. The attested form of the Higher Secondary Examination along with the 10th Standard should be submitted along with the application form.

The forms for FMS will be available in designated branches of State Bank of India. Candidates can also download the form online through the website www.fms.edu. Candidates can also apply online through the same website and payment can be done through demand draft/credit card. The candidates that are interested in undertaking the application form through post have to clearly mention theregistration number over the top of the requisite letter. Otherwise, the candidates have to submit a copy of attested from duly signed by the Gazette officer. The candidates also have to submit a copy of Mark Sheet clearly mentioning the marks obtained by the respective candidate. Common Admission Test (CAT) is an entrance exam for admission to post graduate management courses in all the Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) and various other management institutes. IIMs are undoubtedly the best management institutes in the country with a world wide reputation. Every year more than two lakh students appear for CAT and the competition is really tough for IIMs and the other reputed institutes. CAT aspirants start preparing for CAT much before the actual examination and often opt for specialized training.

Until last year CAT was a paper based test but from last time CAT has become a Computer based test that means a candidate will read questions and choose correct answers on a computer in the designated test centre. Also instead of a single day CAT will be conducted through a ten day window for different students where they will have different set of questions of similar difficulty level. Other than these there will be no change in the format of CAT.

CAT is one of the toughest exams in India. The Combined Admission Test is taken for to fill the vacant places of Six IIMs and few other top most B- School like SP jain, MICA, and T A Pai. CAT tests the skills of aspiring candidates in five steps each having broad areas. They are Verbal Ability and Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Skills, Data Interpretation and Analytical and Logical Reasoning. The questions which has been asked from these sections are based on objective type

From the past few years the number of question which has been asked in Combined Admission Test is decreasing continuously. In the year 1990 the no. of questions was in between 75 to 150, specifically CAT 1999 and 2000 had one hundred sixty five questions each. CAT 2001, 2002, 2003, had only one hundred fifty questions. These one hundred fifty questions had been divided in three sections, each section having fifty questions. The Combined Admission Test is of two Hours. For the each right answer the candidates are awarded with half mark, One Mark or Two mark and for each incorrect answers one third marks are deducted from the total.
Availability of forms for CAT 2010-2011:

CAT vouchers will be available through selected bank branches by the end of August 2009. After buying the voucher candidates will be supposed to apply online. The voucher will be available for Rs. 1400 for general candidates and for Rs. 700 for SC/ST candidates. Admit Cards will also be sent by e-mail to the candidates which they will have to print.

NEET 2011,NEET 2011 Entrance Exam Dates Application Forms Eligibility Syllabus Admission Test Papers Results:

In order to resolve the hassles of medical aspirants preparing for the entrance into medicalcolleges, through various exams conducted by the centre as well as the stateeducational and entrance boards, and in order to bring about a uniformity in the selection patterns of students for the medical courses viz, MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and Surgery, the Medical Council of India has taken a decision to implement a common entrance examination known as NEET from the session 2011-2012.

From then onwards medical aspirants have to give a single entrance examination for entrance into any of the medical colleges under the Medical Council of India all over the country, instead of giving specific examinations for different boards and universities. This exam will include premier institutes like AIIMS which used to conduct its own entrance test; however Armed Forces Medical College or the AFMC is exempted, since they recruit students for Armed Forces and have their own selection procedure, and different criteria of admission.

The examination will fill around 30,000 seats for the MBBS course and 11,000 seats for the MD course, with 138 government medical institutes and 133 private medical colleges coming under its purview. By the average participation of around 3.5 lakh students per year in the AIPMT, the success rate of this examination is going to amplify, and students with merit who were once left behind will have a fair chance to crack this one. Further since the dates and the counseling schedules will not clash due to the presence of just one entrance examination known as NEET. This also has removed the major concern of students who actually had no idea of the various entrance examinations conducted all over the country. And also all the seats of medical colleges all over India has been open to all, so no state specific filling from 2011.

The decision for introduction of NEET was taken after a petition was filed in the Supreme Court of India, by Simran Jain, who tried to bring reason to the governing authorities to bring uniformity in the selection pattern and to improve the quality of student intake, and also reduce the hassles for students. Another cause was due to the existing corruption in the system of admitting students in the medical course, since it is boosted by high corruption of commission agents and touts.

The regulation also of entrance examinations have changed and a separate independent body will look into all the matters regarding NEET and also the counseling process in various colleges.
