BLDE UGET(Under-Graduate Entrance Test) is an Entrance Exam for admission to MBBS Course in BLDE University, Bijapur, Karnataka. BLDEUniversity is situated in Karnataka and was established in the year 1910. There are more than 75 colleges under BLDE association. BLDE University is a deemed university and is one of the premier institutes in medical education across the nation. Every year BLDE University conducts an entrance examination for admission to MBBS Course.
Candidates from all over India can appear for BLDE UGET. There are a total of 150 seats in MBBS course for which admission is through UGET. BLDE UGET is conducted in a number of centers across the country including Bijapur, Bangalore, New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Indore Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune,
Ranchi, Jaipur, Vijayawada and Jammu.
Eligibility criteria:
A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with atleast 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with English as a compulsory subject. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2010 can also apply.
Also a candidate should have attained the age of 17 years before 31st December, 2010.
How to apply for BLDE UGET:
Candidates have to download the forms for BLDE UGET through the website www.bldeuniversity.org. After downloading the form they have to fill the form and send it along with the Demand Draft and copies of the required documents.
BLDE UGET Application Form:
The Demand Draft or the cheque can be drawn at a price of Rs. 1500/ in favor of the Registrar of the BLDE University. The interested candidates should also make sure that the Demand Draft is payable at the branch of Bijapur, within the Karnataka State. Also the candidates should be clearly made aware of the fact that fees made in non-refundable in nature. Furthermore, the candidate’s application is rejected if he or she fails to appear at the entrance exam. Furthermore, the application form must contain an authorized signature of thecandidate along with a left thumb impression, also the form must contain the signature of the candidate’s parents and that of a Gazette officer that belongs to the school in which the candidate has studied.
Also the candidate must affix a color based photograph that should not be less than six months old, the exact date of the day on which the photo is taken should also be clearly mentioned over the photograph. The candidate should also affix a character certificate carrying the signature of the Head master and should be in a Xerox copy that is in the attested form. The attested form of the Higher Secondary Examination along with the 10th Standard should be submitted along with the application form.

Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: May 2nd week, 2010
Declaration of results: June 1st week, 2010
Pattern of Examination:
The paper will be of 3 hours duration consisting of 180 multiple choice questions from the following subjects:.
Physics-60 questions
Chemistry-60 questions
Biology-60 questions
The questions will be from the 11th and 12th Syllabus of Karnataka Board. There will be no negative marking.
