In reply, Bangalore have made a handy start thanks to Rahul Dravid's 39-ball fifty.  

Dale Steyn took 3-26 with three big wickets at crucial junctures of the game. Shikhar Dhawan, having top-scored with 41 (37b), holed out to mid-on while Kieron Pollard made a zero having hammered nine sixes in his last innings. 

Dwayne Bravo (29) added 64 with Saurabh Tiwary, who made a much-needed 38. Bravo was done in by a waist-high Steyn full-toss which he miscued to long-off. 

The Trinidadian waited around for a no-ball which wasn't given. The partnership had begun pulling Mumbai out of a messy start of 83-5.  

Bangalore, led by Anil Kumble, won their first game against Guyana but lost to South Australia in their next.

Mumbai have left out Ali Murtuza and brought in Abu Nachim.

Bangalore have brought in Jacques Kallis and B Akhil.
