Congress Not Giving Representation to Youth, Women: K Karunakaran
Expressing his resentment over selecting candidates for the ensuing elections to civic bodies, senior Congress leader K Karunakaran today charged that the Congress leadership had failed to give due representations to youth and women.
Talking to a private television channel here, he said AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi’s call to the leadership in Kerala to give adequate representation to youths and women in elections, was ignored.
Alleging that even his suggestions were ignored for selection of candidates during elections, he charged two or three people in the party were selecting the candidates.
