Girls Hope|Boys Hope And Girls Hope Is Looking To Expand Their Reach:

Boys Hope and Girls Hope is a non profit organization that operates two homes, one for boys and one for girls both in northwest Detroit.

Close to a dozen young people live at the two homes during the week.

They are held responsible for house chores, and completing homework.

Thus far every person that has completed the program, we’re told has gone on to college.

Patti Poppe, Boys Hope Girls Hope executive says, “The children that we serve have experienced things that children should not have to. We show them a future they didn’t know they could have.”

The folks behind they non profit which has been around for 25 years and has extended a helping hand to hundreds of young people, is hoping to expand their reach.

They ‘ve organized a new campaign which they hope will help afford them the opportunity to help.

A campaign centered around seeking three million dollars so the non profit can increase the number of youngsters they can serve.
