Underworld 4 Movie: Kate Beckinsale Returns For Underworld 4:
Kate Beckinsale will be slipping her body into the skintight black leather outfit for the third time with Underworld 4, set to start production next March. Beckinsale will return as Selene, revisiting the character for the third time after playing the gorgeous Death Dealer in the original Underworld and Underworld: Evolution. Beckinsale’s character was only seen in flashbacks in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans which starred Rhona Mitra.
John Hlavin wrote the script with J Michael Straczynski (Ninja Assassin, Changeling) doing revisions. Screen Gems is searching for a director. Len Wiseman (Beckinsale’s husband) directed the first two films and will be involved as a producer.
Screen Gems hasn’t disclosed the film’s synopsis but did reveal Selene will have a daughter in this fourth installment of the franchise.
